Our Treatment Team
Each client treatment team consists of the Clinical Program Director, a Program Manager, an individual therapist, life skills counselors, and additional support staff depending on the specific needs of each client.
Our Clinical Program Director oversees the treatment program as a whole, ensuring that each transition plan is in accord with the philosophy of Living Well. The Clinical Program Director supervises all clinical work with clients, liaises with relevant outside health professionals, and promotes continued educational and training opportunities for staff.
Program Managers are responsible for creating an individualized transition plan for each client and ensuring that the client’s needs are met in an effective and coordinated manner. Our Program Managers monitor clients’ transitions and provide appropriate opportunities for growth, independence and success as the clients progress. The Program Managers also liaise with client families to give and receive feedback and support.
Therapists work with clients to provide both individual and group psychotherapy, and consult with Program Managers and the Clinical Program Director regarding client issues and progress. Therapists also confer with other mental health professionals to secure appropriate resources for our clients.
Life Skills Counselors have regular intensive contact with clients in a variety of areas as indicated in the client’s transition plan. At the direction of the Program Managers, Life Skills Counselors provide support to clients in educational and vocational counseling, assisting in the accomplishment of daily tasks, helping clients achieve goals of fitness, health and household maintenance, and developing a positive network of resources in the community.
